I wrote two tunes to SackJo’s vocals, and pasted the second tune into the first, cutting it up, reversing, changing pitch, moving bits around till it was shredded into 750 bits. The drums, bass, backing synths and SackJo’s vocals come from the first tune. The arpeggiated instrument that you hear all the way through come from the second tune. The short reversed stabs come from the second tune as do the solos. The time signature changes from 4/4 to 6/4 in the middle break.
Very pleased that all those chopped up bits make a free flowing solo.
The inspiration for the sound was Goldfrapp.
