“And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music”
Friedrich Nietzsche

The Textures Of False Invitations
From the hardest place came the softest face
But her tongue was flames burning their dreams again
She was holding court offering gifts she’d brought
He was unprotected ultimately misdirected
At the dragon fair he revealed he cared
And she knew she’d won the race was done
His ambitions stalled as his past recalled
All the seeds he’d thrown into the place called home
When all is said and done and the worst rerun
In the orange light the crowd ignites
And the screams invade their sad parade
Of tattered facts they should have given back
