My heart digs hammers; corroding ligaments and old
bones, interminable disputes, cut out deep peep holes
from my wicked breasts. I tear offshoots of
myself, pressing only black chords.
Dissonance.
Avoid looking into eyes while sucking juices
from invisible beings; somersaulting
into awakened cerebellums of collective blue.
You have become viscous syrup stuck to the bottom of
my feet, while I try to step up,
into the space you consumed before me.
